All Downhill From Here

HALFWAY!!!

Ok family and friends...we have officially reached the halfway point!  I mean man...was I glad to mark off that number 3 on our calendar!  The wonderful news is that it is all downhill from here and the small prepping here and there can take place :)  As the school year is coming to a close, life has undoubtedly sped up so here is a brief synopsis of the past month.

Porter has been staying busy with school and t-ball.  With practices every Monday and Wednesday and games every Saturday until the end of June, I'd say my life is pretty planned out until right before Stephen comes home...yes!!  Port is loving t-ball.  When he is into the game, he totally rocks.  However, he's not always into the game when balls don't come his way, and I'm sure you will see a little Stephen out in the field bent over grabbing handfuls of dirt and throwing it in the air all the while his glove is on the ground.  Needless-to-say, 'Coach' is constantly saying, "Porter, get baseball ready. Porter, get of the dirt.  Porter, pay attention."  But honestly...can you blame a five-year-old who is waiting for a ball to catch that never makes it past the pitcher?  haha  He goes to practice with his right handed glove one day and his left handed glove the next day.  We're trying to decide on a hand and get good practicing with both.  Sure would be nice to have a guy here to practice and coach him in what to do and be better at.  I'm great at yelling at the games, but I'm not the best coach :)  School is going well too.  He's already started with the catch phrase, "But I'm so tired Mom.  Can I just skip school just this one time?" I mean wow! Kindergarten isn't until next year! Come on kid!  As for maturing, Porter is growing up way too fast.  He is the BEST big brother ever!  I don't care where I am, Porter will scream "No Joshua" and "Mom! Joshua is eating so and so and will die!"  He watches his brother like a hawk and makes sure he is minding his Ps and Qs already.  Super helpful and super smart :)  They finally put up an Osprey in at the helicopter display here at the front gate on base.  The sweetest thing Porter said when he saw it was, "Mom, Mom!  Daddy is going to be so happy when he comes home and sees the Osprey!"  That little boy never stops thinking about his Daddy and he lets me know in the most random sweetest ways :)

As for little Joshua.  He is WALKING!!  And when I mean walking, I mean...walking.  He no longer takes steps.  He walks from place to place.  He looks like a little penguin or stick man with his rigid movements, but once he starts...he can't stop himself!  He says Momma all the time when he needs me and he says Dadda when he sees Stephen on the phone or his Daddy doll in his crib.  We call Porter BruBru and he's called Porter that a couple of times too.  He's is totally growing up so fast! He's finally eating table foods, more like scarfing down table foods.  I'm just trying to get his calories up.  He had a growth check on May 20th and of course was not progressing as 'normal' as a 10 month old should.  So, we had a wonderful impromptu double blood draw from his teeny little arms to get around 10 tubes of blood and then a catheter to check to make sure he didn't have protein in his urine, etc.  Of course, the catheter didn't work and we had to go back the next day to try it again.  I swear, if Stephen was here he would have literally passed out because I almost did and stuff like that doesn't normally bother me.  Whew!  The doctor already called with most of the results and everything came back negative.  But because of his slow weight and height increase, we have to go back every two weeks to check and make sure he is progressing and not regressing.  If things don't improve, we will then be sent to an endocrinologist to rule out hormonal imbalances and if that seems fine we will then see a gastroenterologist to make sure his stomach isn't emptying all of his calories out in his diapers.  But besides that, he is crawling like a maniac up my stairs!  I mean one day I was cooking or cleaning downstairs and then realized I heard Joshua making little squeaking noises far away.  Low and behold, I ran up the stairs and found him sitting at the top of the stairs looking down because he couldn't figure out how to go down.  Thank goodness he was not too adventurous then!  So a baby gate is pretty much at the top of my list now :)  This past weekend on Mother's Day, we went to the beach and it was little J's first time!  He had soo much fun and did not try to eat sand once! Definitely a successful beach trip.

Not much to report in my area.  Just running around being chauffeur for the kids and constantly cleaning a never ending dirty house.  I mean, I have a revolving front door with kid after kid after kid and once something is clean, it immediately is dirty again.  I've learned to just do what I can to get by until I can really focus my efforts without kid distraction :)  My Mother's Day weekend was super great.  I woke up at 5:45 (because that's around the time my little snug bug wakes up :) and started my day of landscaping!  All of three of us drove the old 4Runner down to Hampstead to pick up plants, bushes and flowers to redo my two garden beds out front.  When I mean redo, I mean like RE-DO!  I dug up 6 azalea bushes and then dug up and transplanted 6 day lilies.  I've never done anything like that before, and let me tell ya...it was super hard and super rewarding!  True, I was wrangling a newly walking 10 month old who was in the beds eating fistfuls of dirt and crawling around on the concrete and walking in the road.  And true, Porter did the opposite of help me dig and shovel and what not.  But that one bed was finished by 12:30 and I felt amazing!! I finished the second one today and can't wait to go buy the rest of the bed stuff next pay check and watch my little garden grow!!  It's the little things people.  My good friend and neighbor Laura, and I laughed today when we felt like old people because, "We totally know how those old people feel when they yell at little kids not to pick the flowers from our garden!  Those plants aren't cheap!! haha"  I've already had an incident with my neighbor's child picking all of my rosebuds off of my plant before I had even planted it in the ground yesterday.  I hope that after that extremely awkward confrontation my plants will be left alone! sigh...But seriously!  I feel so accomplished envisioning and creating my flower beds.  I can't wait to show Stephen in person!!  Anyways, on Mother's Day morning, Porter walked down the stairs and came outside to me in his pajamas and doggie and handed me my card he had hid in his room so I couldn't find it that week.  He walked right up to me and said Happy Mother's Day Mommy!!  Completely made my crazied weekend all worth it!  I love love my kiddos and Porter has such a sweet and tender heart.  I can't snuggle with that kid enough.  I may have gotten up at 2:30 am last night to feed a crying baby, and missed Porter so much I picked him up and brought him in bed with me just so I could snuggle!!  Those are the only times I can do it since he is already so anti-pda:(  But all-in-all, this our weekend was jammed pack with things to do and I wouldn't have traded it for the world!  I hope every other Mom felt as special as I did with their kiddos on Mother's Day too :)

As for the man of mystery...he is surviving.  We still talk everyday either with video or just audio, but he is knocking it out.  The past week or so, he has been doing super long work days so we haven't chatted for more than 10 minutes max.  I think he's getting the itch to come home since we hit the halfway point and I don't blame him!  Everything seems to start speeding up and hopefully in no-time it will be here!  And since there isn't anything I'm allowed to say, that's about it for Stephen! Doing the job thing every day and ready to be home!  Please keep him in your prayers daily.  Pray specifically for his safety on his job and especially for his spirit to keep going just a little longer until he's back here with us.

I know all of you teachers out there are counting down the school days now too!  Seriously less than a month left.  Y'all can do it!!  And summer is just around the corner and I couldn't be happier!! I hope this nice weather is keeping everyone outdoors as much as possible.  I think I will live outside after the crazy freezing winter we have had.  Bring on the heat and humidity!!  And just in case y'all need an invitation, please feel free to come visit here anytime!  Porter would love some fans out in the stand besides his scatter brained Mom chasing his brother all over the grass every game :)  It would be nice to see some of y'all up this way.  It sure would make the time pass by quicker!  Until we make it down to Charleston next...take care!!

Love y'all....Amanda Rae

Porter out on the boat with his new big kid vest with Aunt Ande and Uncle Jarrett.

Joshua's first boat ride!  He reminded me of Porter's first boat ride...little baby head sticking out of a big bundled lifejacket :)  He loved it!

Me and Port at the aquarium checking out the mermaid show.

Aunt Izzy came to hang out too with us!

Porter and Amelie having some much needed play doh time at the Kish's house :)

Joshua and Wren were semi-interested in each other :) I'm sure our next visit they will be having lots of fun hanging out!

Aaaannnddd....Joshua's face pretty much sums up a typical night in the tub at our house.  I love these two crazy and fun boys :)

Our Easter family picture!

Hiding Easter eggs with the cousins!! Porter's Charleston highlights are getting to see these two crazies...and if you can't tell, I'd say they all had tons of fun!

This is a glimpse into our street and life :) This is at our neighbor's son, Gavin's, birthday party. :) Aubrey and Porter are still inseparable!! Love our neighborhood!

I know, it's going to break.  But Joshua's favorite place is the dishwasher and his favorite thing to do is hold this American flag :) He kills me!

This is our monthly ice cream pic at Sweet Frogs!! 3 months down!! All downhill from here :)

I completely redid my flower beds in the front of our house.  I drove down to Pender Pines, a nursery in Hampstead, and let the gardener pick out all of my shrubs and flowers to replant.  This is what they have to occupy the kids while you shop.  Needless-to-say, Porter always wants to visit the plant nursery :)

This was Porter's class Memorial Day performance which included Patriotic songs and sign language!

Joshua's sweet face on Memorial Day at 5:45 a.m. :) Yes people, he wakes up looking like this and is like this ALL day!! Couldn't ask for a better baby

Aubrey's sister Carlee was in a play out in town and we went to support her rold as Shere Kaan in The Jungle Book!  Again, Porter and Aubrey ;)

Porter and I's mini-date of 1/2 priced milkshakes after the performance.  We never get one-on-one time...ever.  So we soaked in our drive-in experience :)

Month 2

Month 2....down! :)  So it has been two months to the day since my last post and I do apologize.  I have just been so busy, tired, busy, forgetful, busy...I think you get the point ;) haha  Sooo...today marks the month 2 mark.  We are so excited to have gotten this far in such better spirits than the last deployment.  Time seems to be flying by and life is as well.  I hope all of y'all are well and are finally enjoying the spring weather!  We sure are taking advantage of being toutside! Since there is no way for me to even remember the past two months goings-on, I will briefly summarize each family member :)

Stephen-  Well Stevo is just chugging along over in Spain :)  He's still living in a house with tons of other guys and really getting over the whole fraternity setup I do believe.  I think it's a great for awhile, but then when we try to talk over FaceTime, it gets bothersome with two other bunkmates in the same room and the lights on constantly and people yelling at the top of their voices. :) I'm pretty sure these reasons are why Stephen steered clear from fraternities in college!  But on the work side, things are pretty much the same over there as they have been for him back stateside.  He has his job that he does and he will fly some.  He has been able to work out a lot more which sounds like that is the norm for most everyone deployed.  What else are you going to do with your free time? :)   Besides that, I don't think he has done too much traveling.  He was able to go out in town one night.  I know he had an awesome time eating a 9 course dinner and stuffing himself with gelato and hot chocolate so thick you can rest a spoon on top of it!  He is really doing well over there and hopefully passing the time quickly on his end as well.  His address is still the same as it's been since August, so feel free to write or send him goodies.  I will be the first to say that I have been so caught up in my own little life here, that he has gone these first two months without anything from us.  So I need to get on that ASAP!! :)

Amanda-  Nothing too crazy to report in with me.  I've just been chauffeuring little children back and forth to events and then events for myself as well.  My cousin came to visit me for my birthday in March which was such a blast!  I haven't seen her or her sweet daughter in over a year, so we had a good week bonding and playing with the children :)  I did however turn the big 3-0 the end of March and celebrated it with a wonderful dinner thrown by friends and then a Murder Mystery Dinner after my birthday.  Needless-to-say, it went off without a hitch and all of my friends are now addicted to this type of party!  I'm hoping to go to another one soon!  A couple of weekends ago I was able to participate in an event put on here for the Marine spouses called In Their Boots day.  It's basically where we are supposed to be walking in the footsteps that our spouses do everyday and experience their everyday work lives.  It was super fun!! We were yelled at by drill instructors and learned to march, stand at attention and parade rest.  We then were bussed over to try out simulated weapons and check out the static display of all of the planes on base.  After that we performed a modified CFT (combat fitness test) which was amazing!! That was followed by tug of war, MCMAP (Marine Corps Martial Arts) and then the simulators...which we obviously flew the osprey ;)  It was so much fun hanging out with my other spouses in the squadron and actually feeling like I know what Stephen knows now.  Little things that the Marine Corps sponsors such as these events make me really proud and honored to be a military spouse.  I am so thankful for the path that God chose for our lives and how I would never understand or know what it's like to be a part of something so big!  Truly blessed! In other news with me...my sister is engaged!! I'm so stinking excited I don't think anyone (besides my Mom) can understand :)  She got engaged on Sunday to her boyfriend, Jarrett Cooper, and I'm so excited to help "guide" her in her wedding planning... yay!!

Porter-  Little P is doing really well in school.  Stephen and I have been back and forth, back and forth as to where we are going to send him to school next year for kindergarten.  I have been less than impressed with his current Pre-K program on base, but have heard nothing but rave reviews about the kindergarten teacher on base here.  This whole common core stuff has us worried, but we are going to hold off another year before we decide to switch schools.  The big news for Porter since the end of February has been t-ball.  We signed up the end of February for t-ball but the first meeting with coach wasn't until March 27th.  So for the past month I have been listening to an impatient boy wondering when he will meet his coach and his team.  So...Porter is on team Red Sox! They had their first practice last week so the season has officially kicked off.  I have literally never seen him so excited about something before.  He made us practice before his first practice and then when we came home too!!  He is so cute out there on the field and is definitely one of the shorter ones.  But I'm not going to lie, I believe he is kind of naturally good!!  I really wish Stephen was here to help me, because this is such a Dad sport :)  But I will have to fill the shoes this season as best I can! I think the games start the 26th of April.  So if any of y'all would like to come up and cheer on little P for a game, call or email me and I will make sure to have a bed waiting!

Joshua-  Oh wow...I don't know where to start with this kid.  Let's see.  Joshua is a whopping 16 1/2 lbs and just turned 9 months old.  He has two bottom teeth, one top and the other top waiting to poke through.  He has been dubbed by all of our friends as the sweetest, happiest baby ever.  All you have to do it look at him and he will pop that ear to ear smile and a giggle every time!  He is a hip baby and will reach up to any female that opens the front door.  Although he is super short, he stands up by himself and has started taking his first steps.  Every time he pushes himself up to standing he will always take one step, but yesterday he took two steps and this afternoon he did it again.  I'm thinking this walking thing is going to happen quicker than I can imagine. :)  His favorite activity is wrestling with his brother in the living room or on the bed.  Anytime he is within reach of that bleached blonde head of hair, he dives into a grab and starts rolling! Porter is kind of rough with him, but somehow Joshua seems to get on top and grab Porter in a perfect wrestling position and start rolling.  It makes my heart so happy to see them loving each other :)  In other news, Joshua saw the pediatric surgeon on my birthday and discovered what is really going on with his little belly button.  He indeed did have an umbilical granuloma initially, but it wasn't treated so skin grew over it and it has now turned into an umbilical polyp.  So, since it continues to grow and the base is rather large, he will have to be under anesthesia to surgically remove it.  The Naval Hospital on Camp Lejeune does not do anesthesia on children under 2 years old, so we will be going to Portsmouth, VA to have the surgery.  The doctor said I can wait until Stephen gets home and we can plan to do it in the Fall. :) Nothing is ever super normal with these children! :)  The most recent oddity with little J has been his shudder.  It is actually called Infant Shudder Syndrome.  Randomly Joshua will widen his eyes, cock his head to one side and shake back and forth like a chill ran down his back and give a slight exhale.  This shudder happens, oh, at least 5 times a day.  Scared me of course, but then discovered that it is non-epileptic and a spasm of his immature nervous system.  So if you see him do this, he is ok!! :) haha

The only other news to relay is that we are heading to Charleston tomorrow!  Porter has Spring Break next week, so we will be spending it in the most beautiful city on the east coast.  If any of y'all will be around, please get in touch with me so we can meet up! We will leave Monday morning after Easter.  I hope all of y'all are getting ready for a break next week of some kind too :)  If there are ever any questions about what is going on with Stephen or us, do not hesitate to shoot me an email, text or call.  I would love to answer anything or chat for bit when I have some down time.  Take care everyone and if I don't see y'all before, have a Happy Easter!

Our tradition is we go on a family walk/run (for me) and bike ride (for Porter) around the 3-mile loop on base by our house.  Halfway through the loop is this workout station.  Porter ritualistically stops and does his "workout" before we can continue.  Below are just a few pics to capture our Saturday afternoons :)

This is Joshua's routine every morning as we get Porter ready and out the door to the bus.  He stands here by the door while I walk Port to the bus and waits and waves as the bus drives by :) He loves watching outside!

Joshy's first time in the infant swing at the playground.  Although you can't tell it here by his expression, he LOVES it!

As part of our deployment countdown, we go to a frozen yogurt store near our house called Sweet Frogs for monthly countdowns.  This is a brotherly picture outside of the shop.

Porter rocking the 1 for 1 month down!

Joshua's favorite kitchen toy is definitely the mixing bowls in the cabinet.  We decided to put little J in the bowl and spin him around for kicks and giggles.  Everybody was giggling that night! :)

Cousin time at none other than Target!! This is little Olivia and Joshua...cousins!!  All Olivia wanted to do during their visit was be everywhere Porter was and all Joshua wanted to do was climb up Olivia.  I think Olivia had had enough of little babies by the time she left our house :)  She is too adorable though! I'm so thankful to be able to spend time with my cousin Dawn and stay so close even though we are 6 1/2 hours away!!

Movie night!! Notice again, Olivia had to be by Porter ;) This was Olivia's first time watching Frozen.  We definitely own this movie and Porter and our neighbor Aubrey are constantly pretending to be Prince Hans and Anna.  Hilarious!

Just have to post this sweet picture.  I'm so glad I got those Daddy Dolls for the boys because Porter sleeps with Daddy every night and Joshua wrestles and giggles at Daddy in his crib everyday!

Here are just a couple of pics of Porter's first t-ball practice!

Here are some pics from my In Their Boots day!  These are two of my girlfriends whose husbands are also in our squadron. This was definitely at 7 a.m. on a Saturday.  The event was from 7 a.m.- 2 p.m.  In the middle, Kat (she lives 5 houses down from me) and on the right is Kara (she has two boys, one is Porter's age, Daniel.  They are pretty much bff and the same person :)

Us on the bus going to the simulated weapons and static display.

Me shooting the big thing! haha, totally forgot what it was called.  I did hit the hashtags on the bottom of the screen which was sweet!

And, I think this is the M-4 that they carry. Not 100% though.  It was fun shooting something with continuous fire though!

Everyone from our squadron that participated on the Osprey :)

We have friends that fly the Cobra, and I've never sat in one so I had to try it out.  There is no way a guy can sit in this thing and not feel extremely confined! Crazy!

This was t-ball practice this past Wednesday.  This is Porter's "baseball ready" position waiting on the batter :)

LJ hanging out in the grass at big bro's practice.  He is getting so big now that I'm looking at these pics! :(

I know you can't actually see too well, but this is Porter catching one of the grounders!

My big 5 year old :) Love him!

And lastly tonight!  We went to Sweet Frogs and again and celebrated 2 months down!  Porter's throwing up the deuce and Joshua is trying to decide if he likes the frozen yogurt :)

Round Two

Good afternoon family and friends!

Well it's been a good couple of months since I last posted about our King clan and I guess it is time to start up the writing again.  For those that we didn't see during during the holiday season, Stephen made it home before Christmas and life got a little hectic :)  We were thankful to be one of the few families to have their loved one home for a couple of months.  Needless-to-say, two months is definitely not long enough to get in traveling, family-time, father/son adventures and a large honey-do list!  But it was enjoyable and fulfilling being a family of four again!

This morning Porter, Joshua and I said "see ya soon" to Stephen again.  Stephen's squadron is on a thirteen month rotation overseas.  He was supposed to be home for a little longer before returning, but the government decided to make the deployment a 1.0 which means the entire squadron is deployed together for a year.  So we said our goodbyes a little earlier than planned.  Some of our friends are deploying today on a MEU (Marine Expeditionary Unit) which is basically the name for a boat tour.  So the people from Stephen's squadron that are flying the "birds" out there are catching a ride on the MEU that is leaving today to take them to their destination.  Stephen is pretty excited about being on the boat for a little while, but I can't wait to see if he is all happy go lucky after this ocean ride!  We'll see!  I will not however have any contact with him until he gets to his destination.  The MEUs only get communication access when they're in port, so once I hear from him I will let everyone know.

Porter is doing really well as usual.  Porter is doing well in school.  I went to see a little presentation they put on last Thursday and he is getting so big and smart! I can't believe he'll be starting kindergarten in the Fall.  Porter turned 5 last month and had too much fun with all of his friends and family that came to visit.  His big present from us was a new bike.  He has had a fear of bikes ever since his crash with Stephen before Stephen's first deployment, so we let him go and pick out his bike that would "help him" be a better biker.  Giving Porter the reign in the bike store COMPLETELY conquered his fear! Seriously! That kid asks to go bike riding everyday and yesterday he rode his bike on our 3-mile loop while Stephen and I walked.  Amazing!!  So so proud of him :)

Joshua has had a rough month unfortunately.  The month of January came with lots of sleepless nights, green snot and sickness!  Ugh....I forgot all about the baby sickness and teething.   Well, Joshua cut his first took around Porter's birthday which makes sense why there has been puddles of drool following him everywhere!  The week of the great snow storm Leon, Joshua ran a 101 fever for two days straight followed by a 102 fever for a day.  After a doctor visit, a mild ear infection was discovered with an amoxicillin treatment.  For those of y'all who don't know, Joshua HATES any type of medicine.  So pinning him down and squirting that stuff down his throat and then having him spit it out in our face was very daunting.  On top of everything, two days after taking his pink medicine Joshua broke out in a head to toe red bumpy rash.  After an ER visit on Super Bowl Sunday, the doctor deemed him allergic to amoxicillin.  Yippee.  Oh this child :)  He now feels better, has a tooth and is primarily on formula.  He is growing weighing in at 15 pounds which puts him on the growth chart at 10% for weight and <2% for height.  He is such a "little" ball of cuteness!  Also, for those that haven't seen his little belly button, Joshua has an umbilical granuloma.  It looks like a little red bubble on the inside of his belly button that has kept growing with him.  He had an ultrasound performed to make sure it was attached to any major organs internally so that he can possibly have it cauterized with silver nitrate or have it nicked off by the pediatric surgeon.  It luckily is not attached to anything, so we have an appointment for a consultation with the Pediatric Urologist from Chapel Hill on my birthday, March 25th.  More to come on that next month :)

As for me, I am excited to use this deployment as my "me" time for redecorating the house, having quiet time, doing my bible studies out in town, having playdates, volunteering, traveling and having some girl time!  I have already started my redecorating process this morning and enjoyed my coffee and quiet time while Porter was in school and little J was napping.  Big news for me this morning:I heard from my Endocrinologist this morning who told me my bloodwork came back normal which means I don't have to take my thyroid medicine anymore!  I go back in 6 weeks to get my bloodwork checked to make sure it is staying in the right range.  I am super excited to be off of my medication which means my hormones are finally normalizing since I had Porter!  After my good news, I started the deployment cycle yet again with putting the countdown calendar on the fridge and the goodnight kisses jar on the counter for Porter when he came home from school.

We're starting our first night of deployment with pizza and salad at our friend's house who live down street.  We're more ready to start this deployment for sure than we were our last one.  Now that Joshua is older and Porter had his attitude checked before Stephen left, we are ready to take on anything!  The three of us are actually making our first trip of the deployment to Charleston this Thursday.  My Mom just purchased a new home and I am taking advantage of the extended weekend to come down and help decorate and give my expert advice on what she should do with her new home ;)  We're pretty excited to get down to Charleston so soon and of course Porter will be bringing his new bike!  Hopefully I'll get to see some of y'all this visit.  I will be in Charleston from Thursday evening and leave early Tuesday morning.  Who needs school on Friday and Tuesday? :) haha  I hope everyone is doing well and staying warm during this season of freezing!  We're expecting snow here again tomorrow and Wednesday.  That's the third time in the past 2 1/2 weeks we will have snow if it does!!  I'm ready for some warmer weather for sure!  Porter is loving the snow weather, but now that Stephen's not here...this Momma can't spend hours out in the cold making snowballs!!  Whew!

Joshua got his first haircut on Porter's birthday!  He looks older and definitely more like a little King for sure :)

This was the morning after the big snowstorm Leon!  The base was closed from Tuesday through Friday that week (also the week Joshua had his fever and allergic reaction)

Stephen and I doing a selfie in the backyard sans kids!

This was how Porter spent his snow days.  I show this picture because no lie, he looks just like the kid that got his tongue stuck to the pole in A Christmas Story!  But, he stayed outside in two hour increments for two days straight in the snow so I'd say the layers were extremely beneficial!

This was little Joshy's first snow!  He was totally bundled with his 101 fever.  :( Poor kid...but we had to document it!

When I went to Porter's school presentation last week, we were told to look at the bulletin board outside.  The title of this board was "When I grow up, I want to be..."  This was Porter's answer :)  When I asked him why he wanted to be a construction worker, he responded "Because I want to build things!"  Too sweet.

This was snow number 2 this past week.  We woke up Friday morning and Stephen said, "Yeah.  It was raining and then the temperature randomly dropped and it snowed."  Random!  So school was closed yet again and Porter played his little heart out until it melted that afternoon.

P and J take baths together now.  Joshua LOVES bath time and has already started blowing bubbles in the water on his own!  Porter can't STAND taking baths with Brother because he "bothers" him. haha  And the sibling arguments begin :)

This was taken this morning dropping Stephen off at his squadron.  Porter and Joshua were ready for their "see ya soon" this morning which meant that our countdown to homecoming can finally begin :)
